Our Mission: Closing the Nutrition Gap

In 2026, too many communities still don't have reliable access to real food. Not "healthy" food in the buzzword sense — actual food. Ingredients that feed your gut, support your body, and come from a kitchen that thought carefully about what it was putting in front of you.

That's the gap we're talking about. And it's getting wider.

What We Mean by Nutrition

Nutrition isn't a label or a macro count. It's what happens when whole ingredients feed your microbiome, not just your appetite. It's slow food thinking in a fast-food world — scratch-made from real components, no seed oils, no shortcuts, no ingredient you'd have to look up.

We cook the way your body was designed to eat. And we believe everyone deserves access to that — not just the people who can afford a $22 salad.

The Problem, Right Here in Oakland

We're currently one of two businesses keeping this area from becoming a food desert within reasonable walking distance. That's not a statistic we share to impress anyone. It's the reason we show up every day.

The nutrition gap isn't just about proximity to food. It's about proximity to real food — the kind that works with your body instead of around it. Rising costs and shrinking options have left too many neighborhoods behind. We're building to change that.

The Prosperity Café Model

We call it going from 1 to 5. For every five locations operating at full price, we commit to establishing one in an underserved community — not as charity, but as infrastructure. A neighborhood anchor. A place where slow food and real nutrition aren't a luxury.

That's the Prosperity Café. And Café 15 has always been about intentional steps forward.

How You're Part of It

Every order matters. Catering, meal subscriptions, retail — every time you eat with us, you're helping us get to the next location and serve the next community.

Scratch-made. No seed oils. No shortcuts. Food that works with your body, not around it.

Thank you for being here. Let's get there together.
